Psychiatric
Evaluation, Therapy, Medication Monitoring
Mental health services are available for adults experiencing problems that
interfere with daily life, e.g., depression, panic and anxiety, phobias,
impulsivity, traumatic events, stress and the consequences of chronic
physical illness as well as the treatment of severe and persistent mental
illness. These services include:
- Psychiatric
evaluation,
- Therapy/counseling
- Case
management
- Medication
and medication management
- Information,
education and referrals on prevention, treatment and wellness for
individuals, families, caregivers and other community agencies
Psychosocial Rehabilitation (Day Treatment Program)
Individuals
with serious and persistent mental illness living in residential care or
assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and private residences attend our
day treatment program on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Group education on physical and mental health, wellness, diet,
nutrition, exercise and improving daily living skills is offered as well as
the opportunity to socialize and optimize their capabilities. Day treatment
offers these individuals the chance to develop their abilities and live up
to their potential. Skilled nursing staff and paraprofessional run the
program and psychiatrists are on site.
