Services may be obtained 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Between 9:00AM and 4:30 PM one may call any COMTREA office for assistance. After hours care is provided by our partner, Behavioral Health Response (BHR) a not-for-profit agency created by COMTREA, Hopewell CMHC, Crider CMHC, and BJC Behavioral Health. BHR can be reached at 1-800-811-4760. Services for disasters and catastrophic events are assisted by BHR and our sister agencies; COMTREA is the Red Cross Counseling arm.

General hotline numbers for Comtrea are 636-931-2700 or 636-296-6206. Calling either of these numbers after hours at any time will result in contact with BHR (Behavioral Health Response). BHR is the crisis line for COMTREA, BJC Behavioral Health in St Louis City and County, Crider Center in St. Charles , and Hopewell CMHC in St. Louis City . Professional counselors will talk to people and, in real need, send crisis counselors out to meet with a client at their home or safe location.
